2 Free Tunes From Chicago’s Black Holes

In 2008, Mike Perry & Harry Bornstien started the Black Holes. An electro/fidget duo from Chicago which quickly achieved internet/blog success through a series of original tracks and remixes. After teaming up together for one year, Harry was unable to further continue the project and left Mike the reigns to steer. Perry soon after took the Black Holes into more of a tech house/minimal vibe.
In fall of 2008 shortly after the pair established themselves, Potty Mouth Music had plans to release an Ep by the Black Holes featuring two original track’s. ‘Wars Drums’, which has an incredibly energetic ragga style vocal in the breakdown and drops into a great dance floor track with a ton of bounce. The second track, ‘Avon’, is a little deeper but still maintains plenty of energy. An extremely warped orchestra sample gives the song an epic ending.
Unfortunately neither of the tunes we’re officially released due to complications and the Ep was pushed to aside and forgot about. We are lucky enough to have re-discovered these two original bangers and would like to share them with you.
